Brief:
Generations LED signage I designed for MasterChef Season 14. Each generation needed their own shape reflective of their time period to represent them throughout the season. The finished signs were hung above the contestants in the set and in the dining room set.

For the design of the generations LED signage I started by exploring shapes and typography that felt appropriate to each generation. On the far right you can also see simpler typography only versions and options incorporating the MasterChef logo.

I explored different shapes to represent each generation, some more simple than others. After review from the Production Designer and Producers, the designs were narrowed down and adjusted until they reached consensus on the final four shapes.

Every season of MasterChef there are certain ingredients that will always need cleared labels. In an effort to create a more cohesive visual on camera I created consistent designs for common ingredients I know will be repeated.
