Annual Report
Brief:
An annual report for SunTrust Bank, featuring their onUp Movement, an effort to improve financial literacy. My team and I designed new branding for the onUp campaign featuring a chevron to represent moving onward and upward in financial literacy, bright colors, and large photography. After one million sign–ups SunTrust was excited to share their success and updated branding in their annual report.
The report features stories of clients and SunTrust teammates being helped by the program. The design incorporates SunTrust’s onUp branding and large original photography. I used bold numbers and illustrations to draw attention to the most important facts and figures for an easier read.

Photo Shoot
Brief:
To accompany the onUp stories in the annual report we did a photo shoot of two local onUp users, taking place in one day in Atlanta. Given that we wanted to utilize large format photography in the annual report design our photographer focused on shooting images that left me room to place copy on either side of the page.

An Assistant Creative Director and I presented several options for the annual report, including an animated version and a podcast with a different onUp success story in each episode. All the options included a traditional printed piece sharing the same message: the onUp program’s positive effect on communities, clients, and teammates.

Mock-ups of several versions of the annual report. Before they decided to continue with a traditional printed size, SunTrust was interested in the idea that an annual report produced in a untraditional size or shape would interest more people in reading it.
